What is a Prop 65 Warning?

0

Prop 65 Warning refers to a 1986 initiative approved by California voters. The law requires businesses to notify Californians if their products contain any of the 800 chemicals named by the State of California known to cause cancer or reproductive harm.  These warnings appear at all gas stations, grocery stores and even places like Starbucks Coffee. As required by California Prop 65, we must inform you that our product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer. Click here for a complete list of chemicals included on the list: https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list. Note that a Prop 65 warning does not mean a product is in violation of any product safety standards or requirements.
